Bridgeport Hospital's comprehensive Geriatric Specialty Services Team includes geriatricians who are board-certified in Geriatrics and/or Internal Medicine; a board-certified psychiatrist and geriatric psychiatrist; a certified geriatric nurse practitioner; physician assistants; nurses who are specially certified in geriatric nursing or psychiatric nursing; social workers; case managers; certified recreation and art therapists; dieticians; pharmacists; substance abuse counselors; and pastoral care providers.
