The emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric health needs of children and their families are unique, and are best cared for in a specially designed treatment program.

The REACH Program Children's Service—a part of Bridgeport Hospital's Department of Psychiatry—is designed to meet those needs. This afternoon psychiatric treatment service, located in a special facility separate from the hospital, is for children between 5 and 12 years old who are experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties. Family involvement is highly encouraged.
