The Team Approach

The Pediatric Asthma Center at Bridgeport Hospital uses a team approach that includes the child, parents, doctors and certified asthma educator nurses. The Pediatric Asthma Center follows the Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Asthma, developed by the National Institutes of Health.
