| Back Safety/Ergonomics Education |
| Educational training, ergonomics and prevention strategies for individuals with or at risk of sustaining back/neck injuries. Classes involve both presentations and practical sessions and are generally one (1) to two (2) hours in length. Classes can be given as either an individual class or as part of a series. Programs are held at your company! Class size can vary based on individual company needs. |

| Ergonomic Assessments |
| A formal evaluation of modifiable work factors (work station design, engineering and environmental controls, and employee controls) contributing to an increased risk of job related injuries.*Applies to both industrial and office settings. Assessments include: observations, recommendations for change and education. Assessments generally take one (1) hour and also include a one (1) hour feedback session. |

| A certified American Heart Association training center, Bridgeport Hospital’s Emergency Care Institute (ECI) provides on-site training programs in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), Automated External Defibrillator use, First Aid, Pediatric First Aid and Safety, and Infant CPR. | Exercise and prevention strategies for individuals working with computers, related office equipment and industrial machinery that are prone to repetitive strain disorders. Classes are generally one hour long and include a presentation and a work station redesign and “stretch break” routine for use at your company. Classes can be given as either a one-time class or as part of a series. Class size can vary based on individual company needs. |
