Special Care for Cancer Patients

The Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center Women who are being treated for breast cancer deserve not only the best of clinical care-they also deserve the pampering of their lives. In fact, anyone, male or female, who is dealing with any type of cancer, deserves special care. And so do their loved ones, who are living through the emotional and physical stress right along with them.

At The Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center's Fairfield office, we offer both clinical expertise and tender, hands-on care for cancer patients and their families, with relaxing teas, special massages, and the kind of support and understanding that can only come from people who have been through it themselves.

Imagine having Reiki Therapy - sometimes called Healing Hands- right at the Breast Care Center to soothe a headache before or after consultation with your oncologist.

Or following up your chemotherapy with a relaxing cup of herbal tea prepared just for you by the Breast Care Center's staff.

Or going on the internet to get details about new cancer-fighting drugs, five minutes after your oncologist tells you about them.

Imagine being able to thank your husband for his support by giving him the gift of an hour-long deep massage while you're receiving your chemotherapy, where you'll be only steps away from each other.

Or coming to a healthcare program at the Breast Care Center specifically oriented toward families that are living with cancer.

Effectively dealing with cancer means treating body, soul, and psyche. At The Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center, we want you to be able to relax, knowing that we are here to smooth away some of your stress during a difficult time.

For information about hours and costs for Reike or massage, or to make an appointment, call The Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center, (203) 255-5300.
